1- Hello, thanks for answering to our questions. What are you guys currently up to?
Tucker: Hello, my pleasure, thanks for the interview! Right now we are doing Press for The Grey Eminence and making arrangements around the Sept. 16.16 Release .

2- First off, could you make some history of the band?
Tucker: I started working on the first songs for Warfather in 2011 for the first album Orchestrating the Apocalypse , after doing some shows with the members I had at that time, I decided that I needed to make some changes to do the music that I wanted to do, that was in 2014, I then Sought out a new guitars and drummer for the next album, and I was thrilled to get Jake Kock in as the new Guitarist, and then we found Bryan Bever and he became the new Drummer, we spent the first half of 2015 writing and rehearsing and then went into Mana Studios with Erik Rutan to make The Grey Eminence.

3- How could you describe your sound?
Tucker: I wouldn’t really know how to get into describing anyone’s sound, that is like describing a color, if you don’t see it, you don’t understand. We are a death metal band in essence, but there are definitely some parts that are thrash metal.

4- What are the band’s main musical influences?
Tucker: I think individually everyone has different influences in the band, Personally, Mine are all old school metal, from maiden to Morbid Angel, Obviously.

5- How is the feedback for your new album being?
Tucker: At this point the feedback has been phenomenal ! All of the early reviews are excellent , But beyond that, I am extremely happy with The Grey Eminence ! That means more to me than I can express.

6- And are your personally satisfied with the final outcome?
Tucker: Yes Absolutely, I wouldn’t change anything !

7- How could you describe this opus in just 3 words?

warfather the grey eminence cover
Tucker: Dark, Intense, provacative

8- How has the production process for your new release been?
Tucker:  We recorded with Erik Rutan at Mana Studios in St.Petersburg Florida, last summer and it was absolutely brilliant, The process took most of July to get recorded and then Rutan Mixed the album after. I am 100% happy with both the recording sessions and the final product. Rutan did an excellent job and I had a fantastic time while making The Grey Eminence .

– And how do you use to work on the songwriting?
Tucker: Every song is different for me, each song seems to have its own process, I am not very keen on doing the same thing over and over, so I let the song decide. On the Grey Eminence , Myself and Jake Koch spent many hours working songs, before Bryan Bever Joined, we wrote 6 of the songs and once Bryan Joined we wrote the last 3 with Bryan. There are songs that Jake wrote the riffs, songs that i wrote the riffs, and songs that we both have riffs. Then I make a final arrangement of the song and write lyrics and vocals .

10 – Finally, what are you near-future plans?
Tucker: Hopefully do some Warfather shows and get to meet some fans .

11- That’s all from our side, thanks again for taking your time to answer our questions. If you now want to add some final words; feel free to do it.
Tucker : Stay Brutal!
