– Hello, thanks for answering to our questions. What are you guys currently up to?

Hell! I am sitting on my ass and politely answer your questions, but I admire it’s a nice job.

– First off, could you make some history of the band?

Hell United is what transmuted out of Eclypse. The band Eclypse was created in 1997 and in winter of 1999 recorded its first bits promoted by a two-track demo called «Omen». After some changes in the line up in winter 2002/2003 the band recorded its full fledged material «Applause – Ihvh elohim met», which gained numerous positive reviews. After the release of «Applause…» Eclypse played a few more live gigs, but some inner problems made it impossible for the band to play any longer, resulting in the suspension of its activity, until the band regrouped in 2006 and started working on the new material under the name of Hell United. The name emphasises the determination and new energy towards making music, as well as the experience of the band members, who have not lost their identity. It all led to a new demo called „Extra-Strenght of the Obscure» which was released by the French Gorification Musix together with a re-release of «Omen». Towards the end of 2007, Hell United signed a contract with Polish «Lilith Productions». The effect of this cooperation was the debut album «Hornokracy» released on 1st may 2008. In 2009 Hell United recorded a new stuff entitled «The Third Sigil of Destruction» which was released on the tape under Maltkross label. In September 2009 HU played on the second edition of polish tour United Death Armageddon 2009. May 2011 brought another MCD called Abhorrence Majesty released by the american Butchered Records. In December 2011 the band was signed to Hellthrasher Productions in order to release the second full-length «Aura Damage» which will be the continuation of their musical path of blasphemy and violence..

– How could you describe your sound?

It is hard to describe our own shit. It’s your job. But ok, I’ll try. In my opinion, our music is sultry, ominous, and destructive.

– What are the band’s main musical influences?

First of all old school black/death metal like Possessed, Morbid Angel, old Deicide, old Samael, Bathory, Immolation, Emperor, etc.

– How is the feedback for your new album being?

For now on it is very positive. But we have already started with promotional activity, so we must wait a little while to evaluate “Aura Damage” in all it’s aspects.

– And are your personally satisfied with the final outcome?

Of course we are! “Aura Damage” is 100% the work of Satan made by Hell United, so we’re very proud of it. Besides the album is a part of our lifes, so we will be fighting for it.

– How could you describe this opus in just 3 words?

Distressing, ominous, exculpatory…

– How has the production process for your new release been?

All things related with releasing our new album and recording session goes on with no surprises. It is the first time from 10 years when we have comfortable conditions to focus only on work on our staff.

– And how do you use to work on the songwriting?

It’s simple. When we feel we are ready, we just starting to write the new material. That’s it.

– Finally, what are you near-future?

Promotional actions with “Aura Damage” and live playing as often as we can.
