1- Hello, thanks for answering to our questions. What are you guys currently up to?
Going through the final motions of the album release, trying to get details finalized for an album release show in Chicago. At some point we have to get back to writing new material!

2- First off, could you make some history of the band?
The band started in early 2012. We put out a couple demos with the original line up. Over the next couple years and a number of member changes, vocalist/guitarist Dave took over the majority of the song writing, and is the last remaining original member. After they we released 2 more EPs, and now the upcoming debut full length album.

3- How could you describe your sound?
Death metal. We feel each song has a life of its own, and doesn’t just blur with the rest of our songs.

4- What are the band’s main musical influences?
Lots of Finnish death metal, such as Adramelech, Convulse, Demigod, Demilich, Abhorrence. Florida death metal bands like Atheist, Morbid Angel, Nocturnus. Timeghoul, whose song we covered on our Hegemony EP.

5- How is the feedback for your new album being?
We have only released one song so far, Cube, but so far there’s been a great reaction to it. The handful of people who have heard the entire album have said great things, so we have high hopes.

6- And are you personally satisfied with the final outcome?
I think typically you start to get sick of your own music after months and months of practicing, recording, and then playing it over and over again once during the mixing and mastering process. I’ve had the finished version for a few months now and I’m still enjoying it, so I take that as a good sign!

7- How could you describe this opus in just 3 words?
Void which binds.

8- How has the production process for your new release been?
It’s been pretty smooth. We knocked out the actual recording in a handful of weekends in the studio with Dan Klein at Iron Hand Audio, where we recorded our last EP a year before. He also did the mixes. We sent the tracks to Damian Herring at Subterranean Watchtower Studios for mastering. He pretty much nailed exactly what we wanted immediately. Couldn’t have gone easier.

9- And how do you use to work on the songwriting?
For the most part songs are written at home, with weeks spent tweaking every little thing possible. Then we will jam the song and make changes based on what actually sounds good in practice, with everyone throwing in their little flares as we go. Solos are written after the fact. We will come up with song topics based on what feels appropriate for the sound of the song, and spend the next few weeks improvising lyrics during practices until it falls into place. Wrap it all in a nice layer of frustration and self-loathing, haha.

10 – Finally, what are you near-future plans?
Apart from our release show, we are playing Spring Bash festival in Milwaukee in April and KC Blackdeath Fest in Kansas City in September. With the release of the album, we will try to start branching out of state for more shows.

11- That’s all from our side, thanks again for taking your time to answer our questions. If you now want to add some final words; feel free to do it.
