1- Hello, thanks for answering to our questions. What are you guys currently up to?

Hey man! first of all thanks a lot for the interview! we’re preparing for the album release, we put out a lyric video for the title track and we’re working on another cool video as we speak! Our new album DEATH IS RIGHTEOUS will be out on January 12th 2015 via Mighty Music / Target Group.

2- First off, could you make some history of the band?

We started out as a Slayer\Megadeth cover band with a different lineup about 6 years ago, slowly we started writing our own material and in the summer of 2011 we released our first album «Human Nature», that was a young and furious thrash record, since then we’ve toured Israel, played Wacken back in 2012 and supported BIOHAZARD at their show in Israel. After two and half years of hard work we finished our second album «Death Is Righteous» and relocated to Berlin to spread our music and achieve new goals.

3- How could you describe your sound?

We can’t really link our music to only one genre, as we are influenced from a big range of styles and artists. Our sound is made to deliver the songs in the best way: heavy fast and angry as fuck. Our new album was mixed by Tue Madsen (Suicide Silence, The Haunted, Aborted, Sick Of It All), who did an excellent job and understood our young spirit and energetic chaos we looked for. Together we created the new and intense sound of Shredhead, tight guitar riffs, explosive drumming, fat and crunchy bass lines, and vocals that will crush you to dust! we are very satisfied with the results.

4- What are the band’s main musical influences?

We all come from different backgrounds so there a bunch of them from a bunch of different styles, making our second album a lot different from the first. All kinds of metal, punk, hardcore, and even ideas that usually associated with classic rock, grunge or even pop, so it is all very diverse and each one of us brings something else to Shredhead.

5- How is the feedback for your new album being?

Great! we are thankful people appreciate and enjoy Death Is Righteous so far. We made this album with Indescribable passion and it’s awesome to see that people can actually feel it through our new songs. We think the best quote so far is «From the very first notes of the opener, «Devils Race,» this heavy, thrashing slab of metal grabs you by the jugular and doesn’t release its death-like grip for more than 40 minutes». Death-like grip is what we’re all about. We can’t hold our heads from banging while playing, as if we’re on stage. Every day, every second.

6- And are your personally satisfied with the final outcome?

We put a lot of hard work and went through a lot to make this album something we all love and are all satisfied with, so actually yeah, we’re all very satisfied (and

even thrilled) about how the album turned out..

7- How could you describe this opus in just 3 words?

It would be really easy to just answer «Death Is Righteous», but looking at as «Intense but relatable» seems fitting. It brings our world to the listener, describing the weaknesses of a human being and how a person can be ruined by his own deeds.

8- How has the production process for your new release been?

We can say it wasn’t easy, but we worked very hard on the songs before entering the studio, and we had loads of new ideas during the recording process itself and great people and minds who helped us. We worked with mesmerizing designers who brought our music to life and with people who really believed in our music is truly sincere. It took some time to complete, but as we said we are very happy with the result!

9- And how do you use to work on the songwriting?

Our guitar player Yotam usually writes some riffs with a certain order, he brings them to the rehearsal room where we write bass lines and drum parts, and then we put together songs with vocals and lyrics that comes from the heart and pierce through the bones.

10 – Finally, what are you near-future plans?

We plan to bring our new album to every metal head and musiv lover we can reach, through new videos, shows and any other way we can find. We have a few things in the works but can’t really talk about them right now, but our album is coming out January 12th via Mighty Music, and we hope everyone gives it a listen when its out!
