1- Hello, thanks for answering to our questions. What are you guys currently up to?

I finished the 4th Bloodsoaked album a few months ago and the only other member of Bloodsoaked (Joseph) recently left the band so Bloodsoaked is back to a One-Man Band. We did a 10 day Europe Tour in April and have a 15 day US tour being worked on for November 2014.

2- First off, could you make some history of the band?

Bloodsoaked was formed in 2006 by Peter Hasselbrack as the sole member and as of today is still the sole member. 4 albums later, countless US and Europe tours/festivals, MTVs Headbangers Ball, Magazines, endorsements and more success than I could have ever dreamed. Bloodsoaked is still a simple buy powerful straight forward Death Metal band.

3- How could you describe your sound?

Purely oldschool, no frills, straight forward, skull crushing Death Metal in the most raw and primitive form! There are no «slam till you can’t slam no more breakdowns», no pig squeals, no arpeggios; simply classic Death Metal, nothing more, nothing less.

4- What are the band’s main musical influences?

Death Metal!

5- How is the feedback for your new album being?

Well, the new album hasn’t been released yet but the few that have heard it seem to really like it. I have a couple of very cool cover songs that I think people will dig.

6- And are your personally satisfied with the final outcome?

I am very happy with the new album. Even with the few new original songs this album as a whole is satisfying.

7- How could you describe this opus in just 3 words?

Pure Death Metal!

8- How has the production process for your new release been?

Production was similar to the last few albums. I had time to record the guitar and bass tracks in my small home studio and went to a studio to record the vocals. The mixing and mastering once again was done my Shane McFee.

9- And how do you use to work on the songwriting?

Song writing take me forever, even thought my songs are overall simple the song writing process takes me a long time till I’m happy.

10 – Finally, what are you near-future plans?

Promote the new album, US tour in November and keeping the music of Bloodsoaked alive.
