1- Hello, thanks for answering to our questions. What are you guys currently up to?

Thanks for the opportunity. We are currently working on our PR campaign promoting our newest EP “Top to Bottom” through Horror Pain Gore Death Productions. We are also prepping for a string of shows in June.

2- First off, could you make some history of the band?

The band started as a side project in 2008. I always wanted to play something a little more rock related outside of the thrash and death metal bands I had been performing with. After I was able to get the ball rolling with various lineups and self recorded demos, the band took shape and we released our debut full length album “Top Heavy” in 2011. After a couple of years of playing out and supporting that release, we parted ways with our then guitarist Alex Kulick. After Alex’s departure we took some time off and then reconvened to record an EP with session player and old friend Brian Davis. After the successful sessions Davis offered his services and became a full time member in early 2014.

3- How could you describe your sound?

I cant seem to pinpoint a solid description. There is a ton of rock vibes in the tunes, but they are also so heavy and twisted. We try and play hard and project attitude through the rhythms and vocals while keeping gorgeous melodies throughout with the guitar parts. Edgy and catchy.

4- What are the band’s main musical influences?

All three of us come from different musical backgrounds but one band we share love for over most is Van Halen. Danny is into super heavy stuff like Down and Behemoth. Brian loves just about anything. I personally love all types of music but am big on guys like Glenn Hughes and George Lynch, while also being into bands like Queensryche and Overkill. There is a very wide spectrum of influences.

5- How is the feedback for your new album being?

As of now, people seem to really like it. Those who have heard of us before or have heard our first release, know what we used to sound like and feel that this release offers a bit more to the listener.

6- And are your personally satisfied with the final outcome?

I am very satisfied with the release. We spent a lot of time working on it and went about the process a little differently. I wanted to take all of the advice and criticism from our first release and apply it to these new songs so that they would come out as best as possible. I feel like we hit the nail on the head.

7- How could you describe this opus in just 3 words?

Hard, Grooving, Excess.

8- How has the production process for your new release been?

The production was actually a blast this time. Working with Brian (who also engineered and mixed the entire thing) is super easy and he knows what I like. We were able to throw around a ton of ideas and really get the best performances out of each other. We also took some time off from recording about halfway through the sessions. When we came back and listened with fresh ears, we were really able to narrow down our vision and tweak the songs to our liking.

9- And how do you use to work on the songwriting?

Usually I will come in with a structure on bass or Brian will come up with a killer riff and we will just jam it out at rehearsal. Danny has a ton of great ideas and key influence on the song writing as well.

10 – Finally, what are you near-future plans?

Right now, we plan on doing some shows to support the release of “Top to Bottom. We are also planning on getting back into the studio to do a follow up release before the end of the year. We want to keep the ball rolling.

11- That’s all from our side, thanks again for taking your time to answer our questions. If you now want to add some final words; feel free to do it.
