1- Hello, thanks for answering to our questions. What are you guys currently up to?

Envenom: Hi, thanks to you. Well, basically, waiting for the release day 7» EP «Wicca», planning some gigs in some provinces, rehearsals and new songs.

N.S: Ave! As E. told you, we are really anxious to see our EP in physical. Furthermore, we prepare in many aspects our show in provinces (physically, psychologically and spiritually). It’s the first time that we will play in other places out Lima. And obviously, we make some obscure noise with M.S and other projects that involve us (all have different purposes, of course).

2- First off, could you make some history of the band?

Envenom: Morbid Slaughter starts on September 2009 – I was 16 and was by my own. Ripping Corpse it joins on 2010, we recorded a promo rehearsal that year; Aggressive Tyrant it joins on 2011, we recorded «Torment in the crypt» on 2012; Necrophiliac Sodomizer it joins on 2013, we recorded «The Summoning of the graveyard ghouls» that year. Now, we are a four band – A order, a horde, a gang. We are ready to fill the world with our red eye rats.

N.S: No words to describe the born of the beast.

3- How could you describe your sound?

Envenom: Morbid Slaughter is more than just a rock band, is a beast that we use like a bridge between our terrenal life and our curse divine. It’s not about to be metal, underground, old school or whatever. We always will be rock band, that’s sure, but we always will try to reach beyond the limits. We want to express darkness, the romanticism of it, and the occultist magic of the unknown.

N.S: As a new member of the band, I have internal and external visions of our sound. However, I can assure that M.S. is the personal live reflects in our art (music, lyrics and all that involve). It comes of the true obscure devotion and worship of our beliefs. This has nothing to do with metal perception or that kind of shits. We transcend in the side of the unknown.

4- What are the band’s main musical influences?

Envenom: Bathory is the biggest influence in us (As a band). But, that was in the beginning, you know, in the beginning always have a special influence, but then you start to know your own sound. It’s not about be underground or old school or things like that It’s about to be Morbid Slaughter.

NS: Not necessarily metal but obscure and dark music always prevails in our influences (Rock, punk, post punk, experimental music, etc).

5- How is the feedback for your new album being?

Envenom: We feel very positives about this, i mean, the songs are really good, and we are growing artistically with it. People took really well the 7» EP, I read good reviews about it, that’s made me feel happy.

NS: It’s really great! We really appreciate all the negative/positive feedback that receives with our EP. It’s one of the first steps of the unchained beast. Prepare your souls for more unknown noise for sure.

6- And are you personally satisfied with the final outcome?

Envenom: Personally, yes. I’m glad with the outcome, with the reached goal. I mean, obviously, this is the beginning of long way to walk, but I think that is a good first step. Of course, we have things to improve and reach the perfection, for that I say: it’s a good first step.

NS: I’m not really satisfied with the final sound of the upcoming Ep. I mean, is great that our music comes out on a vinyl (I totally proud of that). However, we know that have to improve some details to achieve our main objectives with MS. Perfection is a word that always round our mind.

7- How could you describe this opus in just 3 words?

Envenom: BLOOD FIRE DEATH

N.S: OCCULT DARKNESS REVELATIONS

8- How has the production process for your new release been?

Envenom: It was something very natural, the song «Wicca» was there and «Nightly breath of god» was composed two months before record. It was great to mix something, basically, old with something new. You know, Past – Present – Future.

NS: We record the ep by tracks (guitars, bass, drums, vox and solos) in three weeks approximately. Nothing complicate in that way. Only have some problems in the mixing and mastering process. No really satisfied. However, it was a really great experience for us.

9- And how do you use to work on the songwriting?

Envenom: I compose all the songs. In fact, there are many songs composed waiting for their turn to be released.

NS: E. is the boss haha! We’re king of instruments that involve the project in other ways, and have some relative participation in the final composition.

10 – Finally, what are you near-future plans?

Envenom: Touring – Rehearse new songs – explore new boundaries – transcendence.

N.S: Meditation and Transcendence in order to strengthen and crystallize our goals.

11- That’s all from our side, thanks again for taking your time to answer our questions. If you now want to add some final words; feel free to do it.
