1- Hello, thanks for answering to our questions. What are you guys currently up to?
Hi guys, thanks to you to give us space on this amazing webzine. We’re doing good, promoting our album playing live shows, in the middle of our “Resurrection Denied Tour” 2014 that includes shows all around Europe and US.
2- First off, could you make some history of the band?
Sure. So the idea of this project born in August 2012 from Mario (guitarist) and David (former bass player). Since the beginning they took the band very seriously, and they were looking for someone experienced and almost already in the scene (as they were with their bands Vulvectomy and Coprophiliac).We knew each other for a while, so they decided to involve me on drums and Paolo on vocals. Immediately we started to write some tunes to end a few months later (November 2012) with a 2 songs promo we sent to many labels and push it on the Net as much as we could. The response was pretty big as well as unexpected, and we received many proposal from different labels too; the best we received came from our great friend Steve Green from Comatose Music who believes in us since the beginning, and we signed for this amazing label on January 3rd of 2013. There was a lot of people asking us to play shows after that, but we thought that was better to have more songs and start playing shows once we were ready without any rush. All over sudden, when the writing process was going on and our “fanbase” was growing, our former bass player had some personal problems and it was impossible for him to continue playing in a band. Luckily not so much time passed that we found our new bass player Damiano, that is a great guy and a very talented musician. So after the songwriting was finished we announced our firsts shows and entered the studio, recording our first full length that will be out on June 24thworldwide, but will be available since June 6th during our tour in US with Lust Of Decay and Coathanger Abortion
3- How could you describe your sound?
Most part of our fans told us that our sound is like Disgorge in an “European” and a modern way. It’s a pretty big compliment and we’re stoked about it!
4- What are the band’s main musical influences?
As I told you the main influence of the band is Disgorge, along with Gorgasm and Condemned on the first line. Then everyone puts in there his own different influences, and this is good because the songs doesn’t sound like a “copy” of the bands I mentioned.
5- How is the feedback for your new album being?
We received a very huge feedback, as unexpected as it was for the promo 2 years ago. It’s only a pleasure to receive all these great reviews and comments.
6- And are your personally satisfied with the final outcome?
Us and Steve from Comatose Music are very satisfied, because after a two years of hard work, now we realize that everything worth it and it’s just the beginning of
the journey!
7- How could you describe this opus in just 3 words?
Mmm, it’s not easy… Let’s say: Pure Italian Brutality!
8- How has the production process for your new release been?
It was a long and hard work but we had great time together and in the studio too. For the production in particular we are very satisfied about everything, Stefano from 16th Cellar Studio is one of the greatest producers for this kind of music and we hope to work with him in the next years.
9- And how do you use to work on the songwriting?
Basically our guitarist Mario writes and structure some riffs with a basic drum machine on it to give to the band an idea, then everyone put in different ideas on the song and it takes form step by step.
10 – Finally, what are you near-future plans?
Playing live more and more and more in every angle of the planet we can, promoting our new CD and our music. The scene is growing day by day and we want to keep our little slice going and see what happens!
