1-      Hello, thanks for answering to our questions. What are you guys currently up to?
We are currently working or in between jobs, as well as graduated from college/currently being admitted into a university.

2-      First off, could you make some history of the band?
The band started when we were all being drunk dumbasses going to shows in West Oakland. We eventually got the opportunity to jam in Jack’s bedroom at his parent’s house and we played lo-fi, short indie type songs. Eventually we got into a practice space at Oakland Music Complex and we switched over to more of a hardcore punk/metal sound, that has been the signature sound of Pan’s Emissaries since its inception.

3-      How could you describe your sound?
Our sound is very guitar-driven heavy rock with some Greg Ginn jazz type soloing. The sound is also very blues-rock driven, but fast.

4-      What are the band’s main musical influences?
Our main influences are Black Sabbath, Death, a lot of jazz, early hardcore like Die Kreuzen, Thin Lizzy, Guns n’ Roses and Institute. I also really like the early San Francisco punk band, Negative Trend.

5-      How has the feedback for your new album been?
A lot of people were really shocked about how well the production of the album came out. We didn’t show it to our parents. The production quality and musicianship is way more advance than our last release, which we did 4 years ago. Our new songs are more prog-driven, so we are told.

6-      And are you personally satisfied with the final outcome?

We were all very satisfied with the final outcome of the album, which is a self-titled split release with Nick Noro.

7-      How could you describe this opus in just 3 words?
Master of Reality.

8-      How was the production process for your new release?
The production process for the release was very straightforward. Our songs were mixed by our friend, Walter and mastered by a very well-known Bay Area recording engineer named Jack. That’s all we’re going to give out.

9-      And how does the songwriting process work?
We collaborated mostly on the songwriting

10 – Finally, what are you near-future plans?
We’d really like to tour the U.S. and Europe.

11- That’s all from our side, thanks again for taking your time to answer our questions. If you now want to add some final words; feel free to do it.
