1- Hello, thanks for answering to our questions. What are you guys currently up to?
Well we are gearing up to release our first EP in early March, we recorded it last fall with Jamie King who’s done tons of work with bands like Between The Buried and Me. Booking out some local/regional shows to support the EP and generally just writing new material.

2- First off, could you tell us about the history of the band?
We have been playing as a group since April 2013. Both guitar players came from a failed previous project. We at first avoided our future drummer due to an unfortunate screen name leading us to believe he was a Green Day fan, not that we hate Green Day or anything, I mean they’re….  We picked up our bass player at a Duane Allman lookalike contest held during an Allman Brothers festival in Burnt Corn, Alabama. He was disqualified due to a wardrobe “malfunction”.

3- How would you describe your sound?
We actively try to blend of Death, Doom, and Progressive metal.

4- What are the band’s main musical influences?
We are a pretty eclectic group when it comes to our musical tastes but as a whole bands like Opeth, Between The Buried and Me, Mastodon, Gojira, Obsidian Kingdom have all weighed in pretty heavily on what kind of music we’re interested in making.

5- How has the feedback for your new album been?
While we’re still in the early stages of having our EP out in the universe the overwhelming local/regional support from our brothers and the wonderfully written and probably too kind reviews we’ve seen have been out of this world. So far we’ve been seeing some incredible people make mention of us and the album and we are very grateful and humbled by the response.

6- And are you personally satisfied with the final outcome?
BTS_BandPhoto(HighRes)We weren’t exactly prepared for how good the record would end up sounding, we are very proud of the material of course, but without Jamie King’s sound wizardry we would have ended up with a very different sounding album. We can’t stress enough how much of a class act and amazing talent he is.

7- How could you describe this opus in just 3 words?
Philosophical Space Opera

8- How was the production process for your new release?
We spent four days in the studio during the recording of Post Solis and it was surprisingly painless, we tried to enter the studio as prepared as possible and again Jamie King is a total professional.

9- And how do you work together on the songwriting?
We’ve got a great chemistry within the group, usually someone will have started a song and then we just feel it out and another member will come up with an idea or a riff to try. Our drummer Nathan is huge part of our songwriting process typically, he will come to us with a nearly finished seven minute piece and we’ll build on top of that as well. Overall it’s a really easy collaborative process.

10– Finally, what are you near-future plans?
We’ve got some shows booked through this spring to support our EP and get  back in the swing of things regarding playing gigs. We would like to expand our territory a bit now that we’ve got some material to bring to promoters and venue owners as well. Lastly it would be great if we could finish up writing enough material to go and record again sometime in the next year.

10- That’s all from our side, thanks again for taking your time to answer our questions. If you now want to add some final words; feel free to do it.
Thank you so much for your time, we are beyond thankful to get our music and ideas out there to people. Keep it Classsy.
