1- Hello, thanks for answering to our questions. What are you guys currently up to?
Currently we are in the depths of working on new material and finalizing our next tour in October/November. We’re gearing up to hit half the US for the second time. Visiting all the new and old friends that have been growing in our lives. Very excited.

2- First off, could you make some history of the band?
The band started a little over 3 years ago (2013) in Boston and we hit the road immediately. Our main goal was to get out there and work them streets, as you do…It was only a few months prior that the two core members Keenan Carroll and Sam Willgoose got together and recorded the first EP. It was everyday I would walk over to the studio and wake Goose up around 2pm with a case of beer and say, “Alright…lets get started,” half of the time interrupting some beautiful young lady in the process haha.

3- How could you describe your sound?
This is a question we get asked a lot and is not always easy to answer. In short we like to say, Back to the Woods Metal. If we’re aiming for influences here, we’d have to go with Baroness, Darkthrone, Thin Lizzy and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

4- What are the band’s main musical influences?
We’ve all played in a huge variety of bands with all sorts of different influences and the whatnot that goes with it. Collectively we’ve hit Rock, Jazz, Metal, EDM, Classical ect….but we all have always had that special place in our hearts for some good ol Rock n Roll and Metal. You can’t just turn that off.

5- How is the feedback for your new album being?
It’s been very good so far. People have ordered the album from all over the world which is very righteous. As we keep hitting the road, there’s been new reviews and new faces near and far. In some ways it seems to really make you think, alright…now we’re really fuckin doing this.

lord-almighty-paths-cover6- And are your personally satisfied with the final outcome?
Absolutely. It’s a great journey that we’re on. Living the dream, kissin the road and rollin in dirt. Just like mama always said not to. The album “Paths” is meant to reach out to every single person in the world with no exclusions. All paths of life are welcome to a Lord Almighty show.

7- How could you describe this opus in just 3 words?
Lifes Long Journey

8- How has the production process for your new release been?
Nice and easy. We do it all ourselves which is rippin as hell, giving us all the time we need to really develop what we’re aiming for on the fly. There is no hourly or daily rate hanging over our heads. Also experimentation with mics and putting guitar cabs in showers or tents or whatever…fuck it. Other than the mastering, shout out to Nick Z at New Alliance.

9- And how do you use to work on the songwriting?
In the beginning I was the writer with the help of Goose on guitar solos and engineering. But as we’ve grown, writing together has really ripened the direction of our roots. Hitting the road really helped us all grow together and find direction for the band. There’s no other way for us.

10 – Finally, what are you near-future plans?
Well…we have a ton of new material that is being worked on. That’s all under wraps at the moment. You’ll have to keep tuned in for that. Other than that, just a ton more road work. Gonna be trying to reach the west coast this coming year and expanding our horizons.

11- That’s all from our side, thanks again for taking your time to answer our questions. If you now want to add some final words; feel free to do it.
