– Hello, thanks for answering to our questions. What are you guys currently up to?

M. Great thanks for interest and support from the Spanish underground. Well, as you already know, our new album has been released by Old Temple not so long ago, and currently we are at stage of promoting and spreading the disease in every corner of the underground abyss. We’ve been playing lots of gigs lately, yet we don’t rest on the so-called laurels and actively create new material. It takes time, and we don’t want our next record to appear after 10 years, hehehe.

– First off, could you make some history of the band?

M. Basically, Embrional emerged out of a rotting Glwice culture center in 2003. Unfortunately, the former lineup was not fit for something reasonable. Luckily, in 2005 Kamil (the current drummer) and Rychu vel Vermin J joined our ranks, and this is when a real turn in Embrional’s history took place. The first fruit was demo “Cusp Of Evil”, quite an archaic music meddle which we still remember well, but it’s not as moving as it used to be J. Later, the cooperation accelerated to such an extent that excess of absorbed alcohol blackened my memory. I know that the fury of those times was captured in “Annihilation” and “The Spectrum Of Metal Madness”. Lots of gigs, parties, euphoria and debauchery, just as befits a true metalhead J. Year 2009 came, and I’d say it was kind of a breakthrough in the history of the band. We all decided to go deeper in music and learn its secrets to consciously create art. Alcohol was boiling in our blood, but our view of creation changed compared to first achievements o f the band. The official material for “Absolutely Anti-Human Behaviors” was created this way, full of conscious darkness, mind twist, reflecting the true face of the beast incarnate in human character…..

– How could you describe your sound?

M. I think, it’s a mixture of death metal classics with sickness of disharmony, filled with murk and spiritless abyss of human nature. You need to really closely listen to the material to experience every particle of its message. We try to arrange every element of a piece, but within reason, there has to be room for creative freedom, emotions and art… We leave final rating and classification of what we do to listeners.

– What are the band’s main musical influences?

M. Since time immemorial we’ve been listening to all kinds of metal and more. However, each of us seeks different sources of inspiration, which, undoubtedly, has an enormous influence on creation in general, its variety, action turns and trance. Sometimes, an accidental sound becomes the beginning or continuation of a song. We love to play with music not limiting ourselves to conventions. It’s best, if a coincidence or a temporary emotion can inspire us and detach us from reality.

– How is the feedback for your new album being?

M. I must admit that, to our surprise, the response from our country and the world is very positive. Descriptions of emotions evoked by the album reflect our intentions. We enjoy the fact that every time listeners compare the record to different bands. It slips in a clever way out of a single stylistic convention, which means a gradual escape from tagging. We are searching for own character of art face, which is very difficult to achieve nowadays, yet we are convinced it is possible.

– And are your personally satisfied with the final outcome?

M. We are satisfied, say for 60%, since the album is quite old. Surely, we would like to improve many things considering haste accompanying the very recording session. Nevertheless, it’s a dead issue, the knowledge and experience will surely bear fruit next time.

– How could you describe this opus in just 3 words?

M. PURE FUCKING EVIL!!!

– How has the production process for your new release been?

M. All the material was recorded in our rehearsal room, which is reflected in album’s quality. Frankly speaking, we were not expecting revelations on handing our material to Malta, what is more, we thought the tracks would be completely useless. I must admit that the present shape of the album was achieved mostly through the work of this mix and mastering master . The man processed our rawness through grinding machines and produced quite a cutlet, hehe.

– And how do you use to work on the songwriting?

M. All tracks that were recorded in the album are quite old and were created in times when full improvisation style was dominant. Usually, we met in a rehearsal room, after buying a substantial amounts of alco on the way, and, full of joy, we created stuff playing with sound. Of course, some of the ideas escaped our memory, but we managed to rig everything up eventually. At present, the process of creation looks more mature, as we put less premiles but more knowledge and skills into the new material (though, some might say it’s gay, especially in Poland, hehehe – Metal without alcohol?? No way!). I believe the path we have chosen at the moment is different and results in next album should be pleasantly surprising again. Hope someone will want to support us, so that recording session is carried out by the sound master, Malta, from the beginning to end.

– Finally, what are you near-future plans?

M. In the nearest future we are planning to work hard on the new material and record two or three songs this year to send them all over the world and draw interest of a label that could help us realize the material in full. Of course, we are going to perform intensely and promote the album. It would be fucking awesome to perform our art live for, let’s say, Spanish crew who like sounds of anti-human beast. However, time will tell how all this is going to go.
