1.Hello, thanks for answering to our questions. What are you guys currently up to?

Hello, thank for the interview ! Now, we are preparing some news songs with our new guitarist between some gigs in Switzerland.

2.First off, could you make some history of the band?

We formed «Calcined» in 2008 with Lionel (Drums) ans we are quickly write some songs with the current guitarist. In 2010, Magnus rejoined the band on vocal and we have recorded a 4 tittles EP album “Thwarted”.

In the current of the summer 2011, we contacted some bands for released a split-album inclu Death cover. we quickly became friends with “Regicide Decease” from Poland. and the project accomplished “Death Illumination” release in July 2012.

Now we have a new guitarist “Jéjé” and the line-up is stable !

3.How could you describe your sound?

Our sound is a death metal sound ! I think is the best description of our sound !

4.What are the band’s main musical influences?

The principal influence come of the floridian death metal scene, some bands as “Monstrosity”, “Obituary”, … But we like the european death metal scene too ! Some bands as “Severe Torture”, “Yattering”…

5.How is the feedback for your new album being?

Good ! the result is good ! we have recorded with a simple equipement but the mix was effective! This release have one default, it lacks professionalism for the recording, but is a problem from the band and now everything is resolved !

6.And are your personally satisfied with the final outcome?

Yes, the mixing was good and the result is suitable. All cover was managed with our friend from “Regicide Decease” and they did a very good job !

7.How could you describe this opus in just 3 words?

Agressive, tumultuous and bestial

8.How has the production process for your new release been?

We have recorded ourself in our rehearsal. For the drums, we called an engineer

9.And how do you use to work on the songwriting?

We write some new song together. Each one brings some ideas and guitar riff and we seek the best way to align the riffs.

10.Finally, what are you near-future?

Now, we write some news songs in the same style. Maybe, next year we will recorded some news titles for a new release !
